Role Summary/Purpose

The E-Line Completions Specialist will be responsible for safely applying the appropriate procedures for the operation of wireline equipment, tools, and techniques in order to ensure quality and cost effective service is provided to each customer. In this role, you will work within the cased-hole intervention discipline and perform services related to formation evaluation, perforating services, conveyance, and explosive / radioactive handling.
Essential Responsibilities

In the role of E-Line Completions Specialist you will:

·  Plan and prepare for well site operations; assure adherence to all safety regulations

·  Supervise and assist Operator crews in the preparation of the unit and calibration of equipment

·  Conduct Wireline well site operations to the satisfaction of the customer at the well site

·  Maintain knowledge of the latest technological changes and operating procedures pertaining to Company equipment, tools, and practices to ensure maximum operating efficiency

·  Maintain customer relations by establishing a positive image and confidence in the quality of services and ensure the confidentiality of all logging operations

·  Maintain direct contact with customer's representatives throughout the logging or completion operation; interpret common services in the assigned service area for customers

·  Prepare, draft, and complete all logs for printing on location or immediately upon return to district office from job site, depending on company and customer requirements

·  Promptly and accurately submit all required reports and data

·  Maintain assigned equipment and facilities in a neat, workable condition and conduct yourself in an exemplary manner at all times

·  Support Logging Services EHS objectives; participate in company and client EHS activities

·  Ability to safely deploy to remote geographic assignment locations – onshore and offshore locations with limited access to medical care, which may require 4 hours (or more) travel time to reach secondary level medical care
Qualifications/Requirements

·  High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution

·  Minimum 2 years of wireline experience

Eligibility Requirements:

·  Ability to receive and maintain clearance to operate explosive material with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (BATF)

·  Possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Hazardous Material Endorsement OR ability and willingness to obtain and maintain one

·  Obtain and maintain an Explosive's License

·  Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required

·  Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities

·  Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

·  To the extent that you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned / leased or rented vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record

·  Undergo Periodic fitness for duty tests, examinations, and/or certifications will be required for onshore/offshore remote location assignments
Desired Characteristics

·  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university

·  Working knowledge of cased hole logging, evaluation tools, perforating operations, and pressure control

·  Working knowledge of Systems, Identification, dissemble, inspection, and Assemble Wireline equipment

·  Equipment troubleshooting experience

·  Corrective action and customer complaint investigation training

·  Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) Regulations

·  Strong knowledge in operating electronics, computers, and software used in cased-hole Perforating and logging

·  Proficient with a personal computer and common applicable functions / programs

·  Strong oral and written communication skills
