Role Summary/Purpose
As the Dayton Cores & Castings Sourcing Leader, you will have dotted line reporting to the Dayton Site Leader and directly reporting to the Sourcing Airfoils Castings Commercial Leader. You will manage Supplier Performance, Operations and Strategy. You will own all aspects from Delivery, Cost, Quality, & Supplier Relationships, along with site spend, profile strategy and execution. You will develop and manage a customer strategy and be a key member of the commercial strategy team.
Essential Responsibilities
As the Dayton Cores & Castings Sourcing Leader, you will:
· Manage Supplier Performance
· Establish clear performance criteria on delivery, cost, and quality
· Evaluate short and long term supplier strategy (Grow / Shrink / Maintain), new supplier development
· Directly interface with Dayton site operations team for supplier delivery commits, and commercial needs
· Manage Site Spend
· Complete spend profile analysis and develop strategy and operating rhythm to incorporate cost reduction and control
· Develop and manage Site Commercial Strategy
· Partner with Site, sourcing, and finance teams on Commercial strategy with the casting industry
· Develop Terms and conditions agreement
· Build out product and customer portfolio
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Sourcing)
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in Buying, Procurement, Sourcing or Supply Chain
