Role Summary/Purpose
This role will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, requirements, and processes for the business segment. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others and have the ability to impact short-term and long-term business goals.
Essential Responsibilities
· Collect, Design and build Spotfire reports to satisfy business needs
· Collaborate with GE Partners to identify and connect to Data Lake information and query Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software accordingly for data sources
· Conduct information sessions on Spotfire tools
· Collaborate between internal and external business owners and processes to support requirements
· Prioritize and implement multiple concurrent process improvement projects, alone or as part of a multinational team, to drive customer satisfaction and business productivity
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Digital Technology)
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in Digital Technology, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or related field
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :
· This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment
Desired Characteristics
· Experience with Database Tools including SQL, postgre SQL, pgAdmin, and Report Building tools including Dataiku and Spotfire
· Experience with Microsoft Office tools with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic
· Experience with GE Support Central Tools including Forms, Workflows and Integrator (GE candidates only)
· Working knowledge of Oracle tables and Data Lake
· Ability to comprehend and translate functional needs to technical requirements
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
