Job Description Summary
Lead the C&TO function global policies, procedures and corporate enterprise standards program. Assure documents are current, meet quality standards, and have proper quantity to drive conformance to policy and regulatory requirements. Integrate processes into the functions risk model to measure site level conformity, as well as drive sustainable corrective actions.Assess global sites local procedures, systems, documentation, training, metrics, communications, and control plans. Identify gaps and lead action plans for cross-functional resources, e.g., Site Materials Manager, to close gaps and reduce risk. Manage the global site focal process.
Act as functional owner of C&TO Quality Platform and integrate platform into C&TO team structure to ensure sites conform to regulatory and policy requirements.
Own GE Aviation corporate governance plans and actions, to include completion of all Enterprise Standard requirements.
This position can be located in Evendale, OH or open to remote consideration in OH.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Improve and sustain process to ensure policy and procedure documents exist, meet quality standards, and are followed across C&TO and GE Aerospace global sites.
- Manage and enhance visual management tools and digital action tracking to ensure clear line of sight into site adherence to requirements. Lead reviews to illustrate status and problems solve issues.
- Comprehensive assessment of all global trading sites conformity to policy and procedure
- Ensure C&TO team is up to date on all Quality and Compliance related requirements, and coach and guide team on effective quality practices
- Refine and advance site focal program to include continuous resourcing, training, and effective flow down and up.
- Integrated Gensuite platform within C&TO teams and maintain tool to meet C&TO needs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years customs, transportation, logistics, systems or related supply chain experience) + minimum of 3 years customs, transportation, logistics, systems or related supply chain experience
