Role Summary/Purpose

Working within the Dowty Propellers Customer Services team, the candidate will be engaged in a wide variety of activities relating to customer order fulfillment, pricing and associated business processes and activities. As Dowty Propellers continues to differentiate ourselves in the market place by driving excellence into customer service, this person will have a passion for customer service, process compliance, efficiency, and effective communication.
Essential Responsibilities

Reporting to a customer services Team Leader in a fast-paced environment, this is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to develop their skills and gain experience in a profitable high technology business that encompasses design, manufacturing and services.

·  Order to Remittance responsibilities include:

·  Timely responses to customer enquiries and communications,

·  Providing quotations for Dowty Propellers repairs,

·  The acknowledgment and processing of customer orders within the business,

·  Monitoring and reporting on the status of customer orders,

·  Coordinating the release and shipment of customer orders,

·  Communicating order status to the customer and business,

·  Processing customer invoices,

·  Supporting the GE collections team.

·  Producing routine reports against KPI’s

·  Additional responsibilities include:

·  Supporting the wider GE / Dowty commercial team including Contract Margin Reviews,

·  Coordinating with the Supply Chain matrix,

·  As a regular point of communication this person will have responsibility to

·  Represent Dowty Propellers products and services to the customer

·  Report to the commercial team customer requirements, issues, complaints and opportunities to improve in relationships or business development,

·  Identifying and implementing process improvements and supporting the growth of the Business

·  Support and engage in business activities to the benefit of our customers, GE Aviation, Dowty Propellers, its employees and the local community.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree in a business related subject or equivalent knowledge and experience

·  Proficiency in the use of MS packages including excel

·  Experience of ERP systems would be advantageous
