Essential Responsibilities

Deliver on operational controllership excellence representing full spectrum of power services CSA while demonstrating accountability for functional, business and broad company objectives. Lead contractual services agreements, $50b portfolio, data quality consistency and automation on cost segmentation for contract costs of extra-work, non-extra work, services, repairs, and parts for quarterly reviews and CMR input. Coordinate ongoing ERP, Powermax enhancement with systems team: reporting functionality, global Powermax project setup processes and system integration process. Partner with statutory controller on CSA reporting compliance for transfer pricing eliminations and annual statutory filings and margin rate updates, and long-term automation in ICAM and Powermax. Finance owner for quarterly confirm (account reconciliation subledger tool) for CSA project costs classification and deferred balance quarterly reconciliations. Manage and provide global guidance to PS region finance and operations on reconciliation process, review requirements, metrics and data analytics. Partner with it and finance systems team on change management and tool enhancements. Manage global policy, process and controls for execution of ASC 606 accounting in ERP project accounting and confirm tools for PS portfolio. Own key quarter-end closing activities on balance sheet reviews, journal entries, corporate data request submissions. Support ASC 606 sox controls monitoring, simplification and automation of processes. Design and implement dashboard monitoring reports to ensure data accuracy and process standardization from a global perspective. Support external (KPMG) and internal (SOX / CAS) audits. Support ongoing ERP design for Powermax enhancement and migration of PS portfolio.
Qualifications/Requirements

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting and six (6) years of progressively responsible post-bachelors degree experience in finance roles. The position also requires: Two (2) years of experience with ORACLE and SAP finance applications; Two (2) years of experience with ASC 606 accounting principles and application for long-term contracts; A certified public accountant license or three (3) years of experience with US GAAP; Two (2) years of experience in mapping, testing, and analyzing financial controls.
