Role Summary/Purpose

The Consumer Marketing Co-op will contribute to the success of our digital and brand marketing efforts by supporting through tactical execution. This person will learn retail marketing, brand asset management processes as well as digital marketing execution both at the brand and account level.
Essential Responsibilities

In addition you will :

·  Develop and maintain a content calendar to be shared among Marketing & Communications teams

·  With GE Lighting’s national marketing plan as your guide, work with Marketing team to develop and maintain content for use on GEL properties (website, social, etc.) as well as shared on an account level

·  Organize and maintain product content (including images / video) for use on GEL properties as well as accounts

·  Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Technology, IT, etc. to ensure web and digital experiences make it easier to do business with GE

·  Maintain consistency of global web templates, images & functionality to enable scale and speed for GE Lighting customers

·  Participate as needed in the planning of national and account trade shows

·  Contribute across one or more projects as assigned in a cross-functional environment

·  Stay up to date on current and emerging design, technology, industry, and market trends
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate Program

·  Minimum of 3.0 / 4.0 GPA

·  Current Junior or Senior Qualification (full time college student who has completed at least one previous co-op rotation or internship)
