Role Summary/Purpose
The Commercial Finance Analyst will partner with both the Commercial Finance Leader and NA Commercial Channel commercial team to drive operational excellence and the development, implementation and measurement of operating plans and participate in their successful execution.
Essential Responsibilities
In addition, the Commercial Finance Analyst will:
· Partner with the NA channel commercial team to drive revenue growth through agents / distributors, structure direct deals and facilitating customer acquisition
· Partner with Commercial excellence team in designing and executing the IC plans and monitor performance & payouts
· Drive operating rhythm with sales team to ensure clarity and accountability across key commercial metrics: orders, sales, backlog, pipeline and margins
· Conduct performance analytics for regions to identify financial trends, highlight risk and opportunities, and ensure operational coordination
· Own end to end financials with driving margins, profitability and driving sales productivity working closely with leadership
· Provide leadership on key initiatives and drive simplification projects that will facilitate and increase capacity for value-added financial analysis
· Work closely with cross functional teams like pricing and supply chain to liaise with the needs of sales teams to identify gaps and support growth
· Drive team productivity with support on agent / distributor / product line analytics, ad-hoc reporting, orders holds and AR past-dues resolutions, etc.
· Work with the broader Channel team to participate / lead projects that benefit the overall channel network
· Support in quarter close activities

Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University
· Minimum of 3 years Finance Experience

Desired Characteristics
· FMP graduate (GE only)
· 4 years Finance Experience
· Past experience in lighting / industrial space
· Advanced MS Excel knowledge and Proficient in MS Office Suite
· Strong written and spoken communication in English
· Strong data management and analytical skills with demonstrated capabilities in data / market analysis and business modeling
· Comfortable working in a matrix organization
· Proactive and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
· Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders across multiple functions
