Job Description Summary

To be a Chemical Stripping Operator to support repair process of GE gas turbine Hot Gas Path (HGP) components in PT GENTS Service Center. In this role, you will be an integral part of our skilled workforce, responsible for performing chemical stripping operations to effectively remove coatings from turbine components and achieving surface condition per approved standard prior repair process in the repair line.

Job Description

I. Essential Functions, responsibilities

·  Execution of chemical striping process for gas turbine components as per required GE specification
·  Loading and unloading parts to the chemical stripping facility
·  Refilling chemical tanks (new or waste) by following strict safety standard
·  Preparation of components and equipment before starting process (masking/blasting)
·  Carry out qualifications and trials for development/implementation and process stability testing purpose in co-operation with process engineering
·  Carry out calibration on the equipment based on the standard
·  Reporting errors and discrepancies to supervisor, engineering and production planners for the preparation and monitoring of NCR's, production orders, and adjustments
·  Lead chemical stripping team helper to perform in daily operations
·  Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment and tools
·  Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Perform chemical waste handling according to EHS & authority regulations
 

II. Qualifications requirements

·  Minimum of 2 years’ experience in performing chemical management duties on manufacturing industry or similar
·  Experience in handling chemicals such as HCL, NaOH, FeCl including regulations
·  English language (Intermediate)
·  Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes
·  Knowledge of common IT-tools and systems
