Working at our Beavercreek Site :

GE Aerospace operations have been part of the Beavercreek community for over 70 years! Our Beavercreek facility manufactures gas turbine tubes, ducts, and manifolds, and also has complex machining, fabrication and investment casting capabilities. Product engineering, new product development and testing is performed on site. This facility also does repair and overhaul of tubes, ducts, and manifolds. We have been awarded OSHAS’s highest safety rating. 

Role Overview:

·  Perform calibration and maintenance of measurement and test equipment in accordance with established procedures and standards.
·  Document calibration results and maintain accurate records of all calibration activities.
·  Troubleshoot and repair equipment as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
·  Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve calibration-related issues.
·  Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards, including AS9100, ISO 17025 or other relevant regulations.
·  Coordinate outside calibration sources (including but not limited to POs, flowing requirements, shipping, etc.)
·  Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance calibration processes and procedures.
·  Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.

The Ideal Candidate:

The Calibration Technician will be responsible for the calibration, maintenance, and repair of a variety of measurement and test equipment. This role ensures that all equipment meets the required standards and specifications to support our manufacturing and engineering operations.

Required Qualifications:

·  High school diploma or GED
·  Minimum of 2 years of experience in calibration, metrology, or a minimum of 5 years of Manufacturing experience in a role involving Inspection with standard gages and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Relevant Metrology training preferred.
·  Strong understanding of calibration principles, techniques, and standards.
·  Proficiency in using calibration software and equipment.
·  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·  Strong communication and documentation skills.
·  Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standards is a plus.

Additional Information:

·  Wages $26.43 + per hour based on experience
·  Must be able to walk, sit, or stoop on a regular basis.
