Role Summary/Purpose

In this role, you will have ownership of end-to-end analytics development to complex questions and you’ll play an integral role in strategic decision making for Private team.
Essential Responsibilities

• Provide sophisticated research and analysis on Private market trends, customer behaviors and competitive moves to enable business success on given market.
• Leads analysis process and strategies by analyzing and mining data to identify areas of opportunities and gaps in current strategies; utilizing various systems to develop customer insights for key stakeholders; interpreting results to provide localized data for specific business needs; providing data to support business cases; providing guidance to cross-functional teams regarding impacts to business metrics (for example, sales, market share) making recommendations to cross-functional leadership regarding gaps and solutions and supporting the implementation of solutions.
• Drives impact analysis to inform business decisions by working with leadership to determine business strategies; quantifying business decisions to drive key performance indicators; analyzing data to determine impacts (for example, profit, sales markdowns) of existing strategies and processes; modeling data based on proposed initiatives; and making recommendations to senior leadership based on impact analysis.
• Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.
• Ensuring compliance is maintained within all business analytics processes in collaboration with Legal/Compliance, enabled by the full understanding & dissemination of compliance guidelines.
Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in business, finance, mathematics or related field and 2+ years’ experience in business analysis, management consulting, finance , or related field.
2. Technical market research and analytics expertise, knowledgeable in a range of quantitative and qualitative research techniques and syndicated business analysis; able to translate data and insights from various sources into business implications;
3. Strong operational business understanding, including potential impact of business decisions on various internal/external stakeholders.
4. Ability to function in a matrix environment.
5. Excellent oral and written communications skills (English and Chinese)
6. Strong project management and process skills, master in MS Excel and other analytical tools.
7. High energy works proactively and demonstrates flexibility in approach to changing work priorities.
8. Experience as business consultant and corporate experience is a plus.
