Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for independently developing build and release procedures for a particular release of a product. Skilled in innovating, developing, and maintaining build and configuration management. Leads the technical implementation of DevOps and continuous integration tools and standards across multiple digital applications focusing on enterprise, mobile, web and API technology. Identifies issues blocking development and ensure timely resolution.
Essential Responsibilities

As a member of the development team, will play a key role in establishing automation and continuous integration standards into the development process.
• Support and improve tools for continuous build, automated testing and release management
• Thinks through and implements process automation to achieve speed in delivery and maintain quality.
• Implements the tools, process and standards to achieve consistency and standardization in development processes.
• Profile build process and identifies bottlenecks.
• Help establish application analytics practices to measure user behavior and usage.
• Work directly with development teams to resolve issues and reduce re occurrences.
• Support implementation of a DevOps model to ensure quality solutions across projects and support operations.
• Provide expertise in the quality engineering, test planning and testing methodology for a software project.
• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
• Be able to document procedures for building and deploying Qualifications/Requirements.
• Contributes to the team and works independently.
• Breaks down problems and estimates time for quality related tasks. Increases task level and takes on multiple projects at one time.
• Becoming skilled with various configuration management, build management and continuous integration tools and methodologies.
• Understands the importance of Build and Release as part of development life cycle and with reference to continuous integration process.
• Fully understands the importance of different software environments like Development, QA and Production.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the industry

Technical Expertise:
• Record of successful problem definition, decomposition, estimation in software delivery processes.
• Skilled Knowledge of Web, Mobile (IOS,Android), Hybris, Force.com and Cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Skills in integration architecture and Authentication –API’s.
• Working knowledge in JavaScript,Java (Spring) programming languages.
• Skilled knowledge in automation tools: Jenkins, Docker, GitHub, Selenium, Coverity, SonarQ.
• Skilled knowledge in AWS cloud servers, Tomcat and Apache web/application servers.
• Skilled in Google and Adobe analytics web tools.
