Role Summary/Purpose
As the Boiler Technician you will work as a technician as part of team conducting specialty on site services
Essential Responsibilities
As a Boiler Technician you will:
· Perform process-oriented work required to clean power plant and industrial equipment
· Perform process-oriented work required to apply special coatings to surfaces which will include machining and measurements
· Preform work inside confined spaces, on scaffolding, and/or other areas as needed in industrial settings where Personal protective equipment will be utilized (e.g. power plants, refineries, plants, etc.)
· Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all major equipment within the area and work with other team members in the performance of normal operations
· Provide process diagnosis and aid in establishing process improvements for long term process cost control and quality growth
· Some operations require respirators and/or other devices for the safeguard of operator health and incumbents must be willing to undertake these operations and follow all established work practices
· Specific equipment and operational details are sensitive and not to be discussed except with accepted applicants
· Ability to maintain records and perform related duties

Qualifications/Requirements
· High School Diploma/GED
· Minimum 3 years of experience working in power plant or industrial environment
· Minimum 3 years of experience in operating and setting up all types of powered and heavy tools ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be medically cleared to wear a 6000 Series Full Facepiece Respirator during onboarding
· Must be able to obtain an ATF Employee Processor Letter of Clearance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Licensing Center during probationary period.
Desired Characteristics
· Experience with specialized industrial tooling
· Experience working around and/or operating forklifts
· Experience working in confined spaces
· Experience with working at heights and utilizing associated PPE
· Experience of working while using respirator protection
· Ability to work well in small teams
· Good communication skills
· Ability to manually pack and load tooling and material shipments at a warehouse or industrial facility
