Role Summary/Purpose

We are looking for a Automation Engineer to design new test solutions and develop automatic testing tools to help to ensure quality of our products and designs.
Essential Responsibilities
You'll be a member of the SW team responsible for building platform SW for our patient monitors. In this role you will:
· Solve various automation related challenges - what to test, how to test and figure out ways to do testing even more efficiently than today
· Design, develop and maintain test solutions for functional, non-functional, test scenarios
· Collaborate with engineering teams to design test plans, procedures and scripts for functional, integration, system testing, and/or reliability testing
· Break the software in novel ways in order to continuously learn and develop
· Execute test plans and report results
· Ensure compliance to medical regulatory standards during test development, execution and reporting
· Report defects in product design and participate in technical reviews
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor degree in Software or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
· Experience in developing software for complex systems or computerized products
· Good knowledge of software and hardware testing methodologies and processes
· Experience in automated testing
· Very Hands-on with HW and HW/SW integration
· Knowledge and experience in embedded software
· Experience in Python programming
· Good communication skills
· Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
· EU work permit
Desired Characteristics
· Master’s degree in Software, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
· Knowledge of Robot Framework
· Experience with C++, C, Python
· Experience in Selenium or other browser testing frameworks
· Experience with continuous integration and DevOps integration
· Experience with GIT/Gerrit
· Prior experience in medical devices development is valued
· Work experience with cross cultural teams
