Job Description Summary
The main function of the Advanced Manufacturing and Repair Technology (AMRT) Additive team prints and manufactures cutting edge 3D metal printed parts to test and develop the latest designs and technology for GE Vernova gas turbines. To achieve this, the team processes approximately 400 build prints a year, and the Operations Coordinator is the key member making sure the parts are flowing from cell to cell.
This position is a highly collaborative team-based role with room for individual leadership, and the team is looking for a detail-oriented individual to manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of additive development activities. This role involves overseeing the process from prototype development to initial production, ensuring timely delivery, efficiency, and quality.
The operations team’s goals are to use 5S and Lean to make a world class development cell promoting SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost). This year operations are particularly focused on ~40% lead time reduction and 5S as we continue to standardize the manufacturing flow of these parts.
Job Description
Essential Functions / Daily Responsibilities:
Keep the line flowing and team/vendors in communication including but not limited to:
· Plan and schedule part routing steps for additive development, prototyping, and qualification. Update Part Tracker (excel) and physically move parts to next routing steps daily.
· Daily coordination with external venders on part pick-ups, status, and maintain relationships.
· Manage inventory levels and safety stock of consumables throughout the additive printing and post-printing processes. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for RFQs, lead times, and place purchase orders as needed.
· Maintain communication with additive engineers when build issues arise and be prepared to provide daily updates on hardware readiness with internal and external processes.
· Personally help drive continuous improvement with owning lean line improvement projects, 5S, and safety initiatives.
· Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external vendors, demonstrating a commitment to the success of all stakeholders
· Hands-on experience in manufacturing processes Lean and 5S as well as manufacturing, vender relationship, and inventory management

Qualifications/Requirements
· High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant manufacturing or material planning experience.
· Capable standing/sitting/walking 8-10 hours per day in a manufacturing environment and comfortably lifting ~30-pound tools, fixtures, & components.
· US Citizen or Green Card holder permitted to work on US export-controlled technology
· Travel to local vendor sites, OEMs as needed on a daily/weekly basis (10%)
About Us
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $1,197.44 - $2,396.80 USD Weekly.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
