The Aero Services Repairs Engineering Leader at GE Vernova plays a pivotal and comprehensive role in driving the development and optimization of repair solutions for GE's Aeroderivative gas turbine platforms. These platforms include the LM2500, LM6000, and LMS100. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing repair engineering activities, both sustaining and developmental, for current and future aeroderivative products. You will be required to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Design Engineering, Materials Technology, and Manufacturing Process Repair experts. Further this role also focuses on building a robust repair engineering team while strategically utilizing GE Vernova’s advanced technological and manufacturing resources.Job Description
The Aero Services Repairs Engineering Leader role encompasses both strategic leadership and hands-on tactical execution, with a broad spectrum of responsibilities focused on repair development and sustaining activities for aeroderivative gas turbines. Below is a detailed outline of the key responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Oversee and drive the scope, scheduling, coordination, and execution of all aeroderivative gas turbine repair engineering activities, maintaining a sharp focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
- Lead and develop the aeroderivative component repair engineering team, fostering the creation of engineering processes, and coordinating the industrialization of repairs.
- Play an active role in aligning Aero Repair Team efforts to meet emerging business needs and long-term strategies.
- Contribute to business growth by supporting proposal efforts for new repair opportunities.
Technical Expertise and Innovation:
- Collaborate with GE Vernova’s Advanced Manufacturing & Repair Technologies teams to advance new technologies for engine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Offer expert technical consultation on repair issues across the Aero Services Business, including supplier and fleet support.
- Lead repair development Design Reviews (DRs) with transparency while tracking respective DR actions and milestones progress.
Risk Management and Strategic Planning:
- Identify and assess potential risks, developing strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Contribute to strategic and policy development within the repair area.
- Shape technical repair solutions that align with both immediate business needs and long-term strategic goals.
- Ensure the overall repair programs are executed properly, including managing costs, deliverables, and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Present progress during monthly operating reviews.
Mentorship and Collaboration:
- Serve as a mentor and technical resource for junior team members.
- Lead and manage projects that involve moderate risk and resource demands.
- Convey complex or sensitive information clearly, building consensus among stakeholders.
Documentation and Communication:
- Ensure accurate documentation of technical data generated for assigned projects, in accordance with engineering policies and procedures.
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations effectively through analysis, preparation, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the creation of new business opportunities by contributing to proposal efforts.
- Prepare invention disclosures to protect technological advancements that provide a competitive edge and safeguard intellectual property rights.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Significantexperience in Engineering, Operations, or a related field. Strong working knowledge of gas turbine repair methods. Proven experience as a leader of a global technical team.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $127,900.00 - 213,100.00 USD Annual.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
