Job Description Summary
Logistic Shor Term Planner will be responsible for short term shift-by-shift scheduling activities for the hourly team of logistic shop operators for Aero Alliance Avenza Service Shop (Italy). She/He will report to the Gate 2 Logistic Leader in the Gate 2 Avenza Shop organization. This role is a permanent full-time position.
Job Description
As Logistic Planner, you will be responsible for:
· Shift-by-shift scheduling of all logistic shop operators and logistic activities within the different Gate 2 Shop Operation departments.
· Cooperation with all logistic functions (supervisors, back office and logistic leader) to review the scheduling in order to achieve production targets.
· Cooperation with Gate 2 MT planner to apply the medium-term plan into a daily execution plan and weekly report-out to achieve Schedule Attainment targets.
· Participation in daily shop production meetings, DMS and reviews
· Cooperation with shift supervisors/ops leaders and planners from other departments to guarantee the execution of general shop production targets
· Support Logistic Leader for initiatives related to standard work, TAT reduction and process improvement
· Analyze data in order to provide clear understanding of logistic departments performance trends and create reports leveraging data available in ERP and other system datasets.
Basic Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma) or equivalent knowledge or work experience
· Working knowledge of Windows Office and ERP system (Oracle or SAP)
· Strong oral and written communication skills, both in Italian & English
· Minimum experience in managing complex environment.
· Preferred proven experience in scheduling teams of hourly employees (from 30 to 60 people organized in 2 or 3 shifts)
