The Advanced Lead Engineer's responsibility is to lead assigned projects and demonstrate accountability in communicating business goals, programs and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and could affect short-term business goals. In particular, you will be responsible for technology development and mechanical design of detachable components, e.g. bolted joints for future engine products for an NPI engine.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.

  • Develop action plans to respond to issues/ problems.

  • Lead or participate on teams assigned to address specific mechanical design challenges.

  • Provide technical leadership to cross functional teams supporting the assigned project.

  • Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews

  • Consulting assigned tasks with technical experts to ensure the best outcome.

  • Seeking for improvements based on legacy engines experience.

  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned project and/or tasks consistent with engineering polices and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • MSC or BSC in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials or Computer Science.
  • Industry or academical experience in mechanical design of stationary and/or rotating turbomachinery components including applicable engineering tools and systems​.
  • Experience in design of bolted joints will be additional benefit.
  • Familiarized with manufacturing methods of turbomachinery components.
