Software Engineer – Government R&D

Job Description:

· Within the Government Programs R&D organization, the middleware team is responsible of delivering multi-platform middleware to customers, enabling the usage of Gemalto's IAS PKI applications for PC end-users. The middleware bridges the cryptographic services required by the user applications (mailbox, browser).
· As an experienced engineer of a project team, you are also required to assist the project leader in providing accurate estimation and deliver the project on budget and on schedule.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Degree in Software Engineering / Informatics Engineering / Computer Science, or related fields
·  Well versed and proficient in object oriented concept and able to apply relevant object oriented programming techniques properly
·  Ideally 3 years middleware development experience with software engineering process is desirable
·  Knowledge of multiple Microsoft OS platforms (XP,Vista,W7,W8) & VMware/VirtualBox
·  Knowledge of a non Windows environment (MAC OS or Linux OpenSuse, Fedora, Ubuntu) in device management
·  Proficiency in C/C++/Java programming and debugging (Visual Studio, gdb, kernel debugging)
