Software Engineer

Job description

As a Test Engineer in the Keysecure team Gemalto,Noida, under general supervision you will perform complex testing and analysis tasks on Gemalto's product. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining test processes and monitoring the initial configuration and setup parameters of product. You will assist in test planning and test coverage and design test strategies to achieve the desired result of product testing.

A week in the life of a Test Engineer:

· You will be responsible for ensure quality of new implemented feature as well as existing features in the product for a release.

· You will perform moderately complex testing and analysis tasks on module/build and assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of test processes

· You will be involved in writing automation testcases for new features and existing manual testcase

· You will maintain record of test progress and test results.

· You will write technical documentation and monitor the initial configuration and setup parameters.

· You will coordinates research and development activities with other departments/functions.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

· To do this job, you need to have basic fundamentals of Computer, Software Engineering, Operating Systems, Python and Networking concepts .

· Should have worked in Agile environment

· Must have hands on in pytest automation framework

· Working knowledge of LDAP

· Experience with at least one automation tool, preferably selenium

· Good understanding of different flavours of testing e.g. sanity, smoke, functional, regression etc

· Individuals having working knowledge in Java/C++ will be preferred

· You need to have a BE/B. Tech/ M. Tech/MCA of Equivalent degree.

· We are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience in testing using relevant skills. Last but not the least you must be Detail-oriented individual.
