The Sales & Bid Management Analyst II is responsible for managing the set-up and preparation of electricity bids from multiple sales channels within GDF SUEZ Energy North America, Inc. retail businesses, utilizing a set of internal sales management systems and tools. Location/Department: Houston, TX Vacancy Status: Local contract Only (No Expatriate)Status: Hourly
- Non-exempt Essential Job Functions Monitor/Manage Request for Pricing (RFPs) emails for a region in the GSERNA service area relying on organizational skills in order to properly prioritize and expedite the set-up of new deals.
Research new accounts that are not currently in the Siebel system (Customer Relationship Management) Execute conflict checks on all deals utilizing the Group’s business protocols and Siebel (CRM), relying on the knowledge and understanding of the system’s structural hierarchy and query requirements in order to prevent multiple price offers from being sent to the same customer. Research and help resolve channel conflicts using appropriate resolution processes. Complete the deal set-up process for each pricing request using Siebel (CRM). Request and retrieve historical data for accounts through the utility website and/or transaction management systems (EDI). Provide Third Party Intermediaries (TPI) with daily Price Matrices. Carries out other duties as assigned Acts as a team member with all employees of GDF SUEZ staff Complies with all GDF SUEZ policies and procedures

Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally. Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc. Could involve some lifting Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Administration or any other related field, Highly Preferred. 1
- 3 years of relevant energy industry experience.
