Job description
The NERC Compliance Analyst I provides administrative and program support to the NERC compliance Group within the Company's Generation assets. The administrator will support management with required compliance activities including but not limited to, tracking compliance changes, management of documentation, compliance filing tracking and assistance and managing Evidence documentation storehouse.

Provides notifications, schedules and tracks status of all required Self-Certifications and internal/external audits for all of the company's entities in North America;
Assists with the development and management of compliance documentation and audit response documentation; Master Administrator function for SERC, NPCC and Texas RE portals;
Assists with the development of compliance procedures, programs and related manuals;
Schedules and coordinates Self Assessments (Internal Audits) with the Company's Registered Entities.
Facilitates and assists with responses to regulatory agency and Regional (NERC) assessments as well as manages documentation of self-assessments (Internal Audits) with the Company's entities in North America.
Responsible for maintaining a repository of documentation for corporate regulatory compliance; assist in the development of a document management process within Generation.
Develop, administrate and manage communication processes for regulatory documentation, alerts, schedules, etc. (SharePoint, electronic database, etc.)
Assist with regulatory updates and monitoring compliance requirements of various agencies
Prepares and maintains summaries and analysis of compliance data / KPIs using spreadsheets and databases as required and at the direction of management.
Manages the Document Change Process for all compliance documentation.
Review NERC, FERC, SERC, Ontario IESO, NBEUB, Texas TRE, and NPCC Websites for recent postings of information and notices and alert Compliance Team to impending changes;
Provides administrative support as needed.
Desired profile
Requirements Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint websites. Essential Physical Abilities
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Good organizational, prioritization and time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc
Ability to travel independently to GSEGNA locations in North America
Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
Could involve some lifting.
Education/Experience Associate's Degree from an accredited school
Bachelor’s degree degreed in Business, preferred*Understanding of the NERC regulatory environment, FERC and Regional Entities. Possess critical thinking skills and problem solving skills. Knowledge of power plant operations is preferred.
