Junior Journalist Intern

Job description

This is a dynamic position in a rapidly growing environment with plenty of opportunities for growth. Once accepted into the program, you will be matched with a luxury lifestyle area based on your goals and the company's business needs. Interns will support the development of digital articles with writing, researching, outreach, image and web production and more. They will also provide social media assistance as needed.

- News gathering, research, reporting and writing skills

- Write cleanly, comprehensibly to suit any occasion, be it news stories or staff memos

- Teamwork and experience working in a professional environment with a wide range of people
- Phone, email and in-person manners and social skills
- Understanding of the luxury industry sector

Desired profile

Qualifications/Skills Required

- Previous journalism experience is a plus. Skilled writers and communicators passionate about luxury lifestyle are encouraged to apply
- A journalism major is not necessary. Students from all disciplines, including political science and economics, are eligible
- The program is open to undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates
- Self-motivation/ ability to work without constant supervision/ adhere to strict deadlines

Computer Skills Required/ Preferred

- Experience in using a word processor
- Experience in a content management system such as Blogger and WordPress
- Basic HTML and Photoshop skills are required
