Role objectives:
Participates along with the remainder of the Gas Billing Team in offering a world-class billing service to the rapidly growing business. Provides prompt and accurate responses to internal and external queries and tasks, in addition to ensuring the production of accurate and timely invoices.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To work accurately and efficiently and to be proactive in achieving results.
- To have an "above and beyond" attitude in helping to maximising the customer experience.
- To invoice all customers on a monthly basis.
- To resolve all internal and external queries.
- To liaise with other teams to ensure high standards of service.
- To seek to identify process or system improvements.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal customer service and communication (both written and verbal) skills
- Able to multi task, prioritise and work to deadlines
- Ability to work accurately with good attention to detail
- Able to innovate and seek continuous improvement of processes
Experience:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel to an above-competent level
- Experience of dealing with high-level customer queries
- Experience of working in a billing operations team
- Demonstrable Gas Industry knowledge
Education:
Degree level education, or clear industry experience.
