Key Responsibilities
• Creating Deal Room for prospective investors to the fund. Ownership of project to create deal room containing full information package of legal documents, key profiles, investment performance track record etc.
• Assisting with creation of investment handbook. Documenting the investment process.
• Assisting with automation of investment process. Working closely with Pitchbook and Proseeder platforms to automate a selection process from deal flow.
• Facilitating the Due Diligence Process. As a launching Private Equity/ Venture Capital fund there is always initial due diligence and screening going on, whether for a direct investment into a spin-out or an investment into an existing strategic partner. Responsibilities include coordinating between relevant parties, producing in-depth research documents, producing Investment Memorandum’s and investigatory calls with senior management.
• Fundraising Support. Producing PowerPoint presentations aimed at securing capital funding from specific investors into the fund.
• Deal Research. Using research platforms to provide the team with relevant information on potential deal flow. This also involves using company marketing decks to write internal reports and summaries.
• Assisting with Investment Proposals. Once the Due diligence process is complete it is necessary to draft an Investment Proposal, summarising the findings of the due diligence and presenting them to our Investment Committee for final approval.
• Organising business meetings. Liaising with stakeholders and other business partners to set up calls and meetings. This involves email correspondence with assistants and diary management. It also involves taking minutes at each meeting and uploading to the system afterwards.
Further Information
• First week is a trial week where we pay travel and lunch expenses only. Thereafter we pay £10 per hour for the first 3 months.
• Hours - Full time, generally 08.30 - 17.30
• Start date – ASAP, for an initial 3 month period. Possibility to be extended/convert into a full time salaried position.
• Location - EC4N (plus potential to work partially from home)
