Role & responsibilities:
Fujitsu is looking for a J2EE developer for the European External Action Service (EEAS)which is composed of around 1.600 staff members located in Headquarters in Brussels. The EEAS also manages the European Union network of Delegations spread all over the world.
This Delegation network, composed of more than 5.500 staff members and based in more than 130 third countries, requires corporate web based Information Systems to support its daily business management in a large range of business domains.
Role:
- Developing designing and developing software components
- Prototyping the user interface
- Performing unit and integration testing
Tasks:
- Development and maintenance of software applications
- Development and integration of technological components
- Implementation of user requirements.
- Prototyping
- Elaboration of test programs
- Integration with other applications
- Writing of technical documentation
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
- Participation in meetings with the project teams
Profile:
- Ability to program with Java (Java Version 5 minimum with J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Java Persistence API) or PHP 5.x
- Ability to query in native SQL language
- Ability to build and use Web Services (SOAP or REST)
- Ability to use JavaScript
- Ability to use JQUERY and Kendo UI
- Ability to write, speak and understand English (Level B minimum)
