FREYSSINET (7 000 employees) has a wide expertise in construction, repair, reinforcement and maintenance of structures.
For our Major Projects Division (120 employees – 60M€), we are looking for a Construction Manager to join our Business Unit covering the Asia Pacific region, with headquarters in Singapore.
We are currently managing a wide range of projects in countries around the APAC region (Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia…) with a focus on deck construction and stay cable works.
We are looking for an experienced construction manager for an LRT segmental bridge project in Singapore (Contract Amount 20M€).
Reporting to the Project Manager, your main tasks are:
· Managing the construction team and our Subcontractors.
· Coordinate site activities with our Client.
· Managing the Operations: planning, progress, production and quality.
· Implement and enforce our QHSE rules: Ensuring that all works are coordinated with efficiency on safety, quality and environmental objectives.
· Provide support to the Project Manager.
· Attend Project meetings as required
Desired profile
Profile:
· 2 to 5 year-technical degree after High School diploma or previous confirmed experience as Production Manager or Project Engineer.
· 10 years’ experience in a similar function as a Construction Manager or Senior Project Engineer on large-size projects, ideally on bridge deck construction.
· Excellent people management skills.
· Organizational rigor.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills.
· Ingenious, you have the "Entrepreneur" spirit.
· Teamwork.
· Commercial Awareness.
· Good Communication skills.
· Fluent in English
