Internship at UK's biggest daily pub crawl

Internship Role -
We are an events and tour company in central London. We operate daily events in central London, including the UK’s biggest daily pub and bar tour, the 1 Big Night Out Pub Crawl.

We would love to be able to offer the right person an internship here at Fosterwood to help us with the following areas which will form the basis of the projects you will work on:
1) Promotions management: - We have promotion initiatives that see us advertise to virtually every hostel, student halls of residence, language school and hotel in London, and we’re always looking to expand our networks. This means taking an active role in improving our promotions strategy, managing our existing promotions, and developing new relationships with our existing partners.
2) Social media management: - We have a Facebook page but have been less successful keeping our Twitter and Blog efforts updated more regularly. We have a mailing list, and we upload daily photos of our tour. But we would love to make this more effective! We would like to involve an intern in our complete Social Media Strategy to help us increase our activity across the various social platforms.
3) New tours and new customers: - We have lists of new potential clients that we’d love for you to contact. Whether it’s organising a private event for a language school, or planning the route for an ale trail in Covent Garden. You’ll be experiencing what it’s like to source and develop new business!
In order to understand what we do and what our service is about, the successful intern will be asked to help out in the office assisting with the general administration and to also spend some time working on the tours! This we hope will provide an excellent knowledge base with which to build on the above projects.

You will be expected to:
Run some pub tours as a guide (lots of fun!)
Learn how to, and then train a new guide to become trained to do the tours, or some of our other available roles.
Schedule our guides, and organise our start point location.

We all know our roles at Fosterwood Ltd, but we also like to be inventive and throw new ideas about. To get the most out of this role the intern needs to be someone who is happy to approach the projects with their own initiative as well as our support and guidance. An ideal intern must be happy to work on their assigned projects and can manage their day to day projects with professionalism whilst showing some ingenuity along the way! The more you put into an internship here the more you will get out of it.

We have a lot of fun on the tours, and a relaxed working environment in the office too. We like unique, fun and easy-going individuals, who are organised and professional at the same time.
