Then the role of Logistics Team leader suits for you! As team lead you will support the Supervisor and ensure that all incoming shipments are processed correctly.

Where are you going to do that?

Foot Locker has its European Service Center (ESC) in Heijen from where, among other things, all stores in EMEA are supplied and the e-com orders and returns of our customers are processed. Within the ESC we are looking for reinforcements at multiple departments! 

Responsibilities

What are you going to do?

As team lead you support the Supervisor in managing all employees and temporary workers. As a team leader you are the person who ensures operational management in the warehouse. You are responsible that the daily process runs smoothly, and you operationally manage the team together with the other team leader and logistics assistants. You solve any problems that arise in an effective and fast way. You stimulate, motivate and guide to ensure that all employees pay attention to all work that is performed. In this way you ensure together that all team goals are achieved, whereby a good atmosphere is equally important. In addition, you come up with improvement proposals to optimize the process and act quickly when problems arise. In addition to problems, you also resolve any conflicts yourself or notify the Supervisor in time. You are also involved in making reports and getting results from the warehouse management system. Based on which you give daily feedback to the Supervisor. It is all part of this versatile position with a lot of variety in tasks and activities.

Qualifications

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who can sustain themselves in an international logistics organization. This means that you are expected to master the Dutch and English language in word and writing. We are preferably looking for a candidate with training in logistics or with comparable managerial work experience in the logistics sector. It is important that you have knowledge of automation (scan equipment, warehouse management systems) and that you are motivated to master new processes.
