Overview

As Sr. Manager HR Operations, you are the owner of the HR Service Center of Footlocker EHQ. You are, together with a team of 4 direct reports, responsible for optimizing HR services to support non-store employees in every phase of their employee journey in a clear, easy and service-oriented manner. You play a key role in compliance, HR processes and policies, and support digitalization projects that are required for this. You set up standardized touchpoints, guarantee qualitative advice and ensure accurate follow-up at all administrative touchpoints in the employee journey.

 

You are responsible for standardizing the working methods, further centralizing operational processes and supporting other HR teams, so that HR expertise is deployed effectively and efficiently. With a solid change agenda, which we will require from you, you work together with other HR teams and the business to work on process efficiency and optimizing services. You will further professionalize the HR Service Center, where you make a difference in supporting teams both strategically and operationally.

This role reports to the HR Director EHQ in Utrecht.

Responsibilities

·  Lead and optimize HR services by accurate and effective employee administration across the employee lifecycle;
·  Implement educational initiatives and communication to familiarize employees with (new) HR tools, policies, processes, and essential documentation;
·  Lead a team of 4 direct reports, providing coaching, coordination, and development, while remaining hands-on in HR operations;
·  Define a clear (future) HR service catalogue and define process flows;
·  Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly reports, (pre-)payroll cycles for non-store associates, etc.;
·  Oversee Migration and Relocation services in partnering with Global Mobility, ensuring seamless execution;
·  Elevate employee experience through smooth processes and effective communication;
·  Proactively stay updated on legislation, partnering with HRBP’s, Legal, Comp&Ben team, Payroll team, etc. to ensure and advocate compliance;
·  Seek and implement opportunities to digitalize and standardize our HR customer interfaces and requests.
Qualifications

·  You have at least HBO/Bachelor work- and thinking level and have experience in HR administration projects and systems, including management experience;
·  You have experience with process optimization, change management and improving (complex) processes. With a lean mindset, you continuously see opportunities for improvement and convert them into more efficient working methods;
·  You preferably have experience with setting up customer contact centers and understand how to organize processes and systems efficiently and customer-oriented. Having this in HR is less important here;
·  You can easily switch operationally between different levels within the organization;
·  You have strong people management skills: you know how to involve your team in changes and motivate them to independence and taking initiative;
·  You are analytically strong, with both a helicopter view and an eye for detail;
·  You have a customer-oriented, enterprise-thinking and proactive attitude.
