Overview
For our IT Infrastructure team, we are looking for a Senior Network Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, documenting, managing, and maintaining network systems. In this role you will work with local and US team members to roll out US programs and updates while also advocating on behalf of your European customers. This is an ideal role for an enthusiastic and goal-oriented “fixer” type, someone who really enjoys the satisfaction that comes from delivering impactful solutions for the customer—especially when it may have required some creativity along the way!

Responsibilities
· Act as the subject matter expert for Palo Alto Networks firewalls, managing policy design, threat prevention, and advanced troubleshooting.
· Manage the deployment and support of Prisma Access solutions, ensuring secure remote connectivity and alignment with Zero Trust architecture.
· Design and maintain enterprise wireless networks, optimizing coverage, performance, and user experience across all End User Network locations. Resolve complex escalations from other members of the EU IS&T or Foot Locker Support teams.
· Prepare work documentation, checklists, training materials and standards documents to ensure a high-quality of service delivery and optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
· Drive the development of technical standards documents and implementation procedures.
· Thoroughly test all work and involve user acceptance testing to ensure their needs are met and ensure that systems are fully functional and meet business needs.
· Build excellent working relationships with staff, ensure an understanding of needs and objectives, and be involved in cost/risk decisions.
· Follow internal communication guidelines and workflows.
· Take ownership of issues and show professionalism and control in their resolution.
· Partake in weekly and monthly conference calls with technical colleagues in the US to discuss technical issues, plans, designs, and implementations.
· Document and follow up support requests by using the standard enterprise support tools.
Qualifications
· A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience working in a complex network environment.
· Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Prisma Access, including deployment, policy management, and troubleshooting. In-depth knowledge of network protocols
· Minimum 3 years in configuring and managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls in large-scale enterprise environments.
· Minim 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise wireless networks using leading technologies.
· Experience meeting milestones and delivering projects on-time and within budget.
· Experience presenting technical solutions to decision makers.
· Able to learn quickly and keen to stay up to date on new technologies.
· Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills; experience with root cause analysis to drive solutions and process improvement.
· Ability to exercise sound judgment when making decisions on behalf of customer needs.

Benefits
The annual base salary range is $100,000 -$135,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
