Overview

The Senior Technician, IT Distribution Center Operations – Haps DC is the senior on-site authority for Distribution Center IT operations and user technologies. The role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient day-to-day support across user, production, mobility, and connectivity technology stacks, enabling safe and continuous DC operations. 

The role supports the underlying IT technologies used by DC associates and leaders  
This position requires five (5) days per week on-site presence at the Haps Distribution Center. 

Responsibilities

DC IT Operations & Technology Ownership

·  Support, maintain, and troubleshoot PCs, thin clients, industrial PCs, kiosks, and peripherals.
·  Own and support telephony, meeting rooms, and AV technologies.
·  Provide and coordinate end-user onboarding and day-to-day user support.
·  Support and maintain shared workstations, printing, labelling, and DC floor systems.
·  Ensure operational stability of infrastructure supporting production environments (non-application).
·  Manage and support RF guns, scanners, handhelds, printers, and other warehouse mobility devices.
·  Execute device lifecycle management, including configuration, connectivity, break/fix, and replacements.
·  Validate and restore WiFi and wired connectivity across DC operational areas.
·  Perform basic network troubleshooting and isolate technology issues for escalation.

Escalation, Coordination & Enablement

·  Act as the primary on-site escalation point for DC IT technology issues.
·  Coordinate escalations with central IT teams and thirdparty vendors to drive timely resolution.
·  Train and coach DC IT team members, DC staff, and DC leaders on technologies and standard processes.
·  Mentor on-site technicians, providing guidance and hands-on support.

 

Operational Requirements

·  Full-time on-site presence (5 days per week) at the Distribution Center.
·  Participation in an on-call rotation and support outside standard hours as required.
Qualifications

·  3–5 years of IT support experience in distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, or operational environments. 
·  Proven hands-on experience supporting end-user, production, and mobility technologies. 
·  Experience working with ServiceNow and Jira. 
·  Required experience using AI tools (LLMs and/or Agents) in IT operations or support workflows. 
·  ITIL Foundation or equivalent certification preferred.
