Overview

This role is on-site , Full-Time position located at our New York City office.

 

Foot Locker’s physical Security Operations Center (SOC) acts as the communication and situational awareness hub for Foot Lockers physical Security and Loss Prevention operations 24x7.  This is not a cyber security position . The Security Operations Center analyst reports directly to the Sr. Manager of Security and interacts with team members at all levels of the organization.

 

The Security Operations Centers Analysts primary role is for internal alarm monitoring, police dispatching and alarm system management. The role is also responsible for monitoring and programing our video platform and our access control systems to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures in a timely manner. 

 

Shift Available: 

·  12am-8am
Responsibilities

·  Monitor intrusion alarm system, investigate / video verify the alarm trigger and notify law enforcement and stakeholders as needed
·  Provide updated Alarm code to Store team as requested
·  Identify causes for false alarms and initiate corrective action, assist stores with access code changes and remote arming when needed
·  Create a “Special Attention” screen, and monitor / remote guard - broken gates, board up windows etc, for quick law enforcement response if needed
·  Review incident-based video, download to storage, and distribute to stakeholders as needed
·  Review intrusion alarm reports, communicate with the stores to identify the issues, and initiate service requests as needed.
·  Assist with assignment of service for CCTV, Burglar, & EAS systems.
·  Assist with access control cards and make visitor entries upon request and verification.
·  Provide appropriate escalation and prepare clear and concise communications to security and business leadership and other partners during major incidents.
·  Work independently, at times, with little direct supervision.
·  Develop and maintain reporting and incident metrics to show ROI
·  Distribute reports and communicate through email and various applications
Qualifications

·  Security Operations Center Experience a plus
·  Alarm monitoring experience a plus
·  Basic experience configuring/administrating technical security systems such as access control, alarm/video monitoring platforms and other data capturing systems
·  Experience utilizing C-Cure 9000 and Genetec camara systems a plus
·  Understanding of Information Technology terminology.
·  Demonstrate high technical literacy and proficiently to operate a variety of command center equipment, including telephones, security cameras, and emergency notification systems.
·  Good written and verbal communication skills
·  Maintains confidentiality concerning all information and projects.
·  Must demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
·  Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft office products, specifically Outlook, Word, and excel is required.
·  Must be reliable, punctual, highly dependable, flexible, and able to work various schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays!
·  Flexibility is MANDATORY for occasionally cover staffing shortages and fill in for time off requests.
·  Meal and break periods cannot be scheduled, and employees must be able flexible and work within the needs of the SOC
Benefits

Salary Range: $20 - $25 / hour. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
