Overview

Foot Locker is seeking a Manager of our End User Networks team that will serve as part of a talented team of engineers who collectively demonstrate excellent technical competency, reliability in delivering mission critical infrastructure, and who continually ensure the highest levels of availability, optimization, and customer service. Qualified Manager applicants will have a strong background in IT specifically in enterprise network infrastructure areas.

Responsibilities

·  Provide stable and reliable data communications for all global company locations; Redundant, Resilient, Reliable and Secure network connectivity.
·  Plan, build, and support large scale network infrastructures, offices, distribution centers, voice, remote access, wireless, and firewall.
·  Continuously improve and develop global standards for End User Networks.
·  Provide technical leadership and be a top-level escalation contact for critical outages.
·  Effectively leads projects of medium to high complexity, this includes driving an initiative by setting and meeting milestones, managing tasks, and commutating status and updates to stake holders.
·  Provide technical leadership for projects from planning to post implementation support following industry best practices and global network standards.
·  Manage workloads for network engineering team and provide project updates to all stakeholders.
·  Active participation in creating new documentation as well as updating previously created documents. Assistance in creating and enforcing the documentation standards set by the infrastructure teams.
·  Mentor and develop other engineers located in different geographic regions.
·  On-Call Support with team
·  Drive strong adherence to Agile practices, Change Mgt, and Root Cause Analysis
·  Run team meetings and develop a team first approach to problem solving.
·  Manage a third-party offshore NOC team that provides level 1-1.5 support.
Qualifications

·  Expert knowledge of Cisco routing/switching, and Palo Alto firewalls in a large enterprise network
·  5-7 Years experience with Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto FW
·  High Availability and Disaster Recovery design/execution expertise
·  Expert knowledge of data/voice communications in a large enterprise
·  Knowledge of cloud network infrastructure, SDWAN, and other emerging network technology
·  Excellent leadership skills, ability to work with little direction and lead teams.
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·  Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
·  A passion for delivering cutting edge technology to support company initiatives.
·  3 Years experience with Wireless (Wi-Fi)
·  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business and/or equivalent IT experience
·  Progressive experience in IT technologies with emphasis on Network Engineering and Operations
·  Experience leading a Network Engineering team and supporting global environments.
·  5+ years of enterprise network infrastructure experience, with a focus on delivering complete infrastructure solutions from small branch offices to large global corporate locations.

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $120000 -$150000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
