Overview
Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager of GNFR to join our growing Global Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing initiatives for a variety of GNFR categories, including but not limited to Facilities & Maintenance, Corporate Services, Contingent Labor, and Marketing categories. You will be required to build and execute RFPs and auctions using SAP Ariba. The role will require you to have a strong foundation in financial analysis (Excel) and understanding of commercial and contractual dynamics with GNFR vendors.
Responsibilities
· Assess business needs to recommend sourcing approach and plan
· Develop and execute procurement sourcing initiatives (e.g. RFPs, auctions)
· Manage sourcing activities from requirements to contracting
· Assist in negotiating contract terms and pricing with potential suppliers
· Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, ethical standards, and supplier diversity requirements
· Exercise advanced analytical skills when reviewing RFP results and recommending the business award
· Manage the communication of business awards to the business and supplier community
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
· 2-3 years of experience in indirect procurement and strategic sourcing
· Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience using MS Suite
· Experience operating with SAP Ariba or a comparable sourcing platform is a plus
· Strong knowledge of the strategic sourcing process and end-to-end Source to Contract process
· Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects and delivering meaningful savings for the business
· Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts that provide the best value for the company
· Strong leadership skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends
