Legal Administrative Assistant (Retail Leasing)

Overview

The successful Administrative Assistant, Retail Leasing, candidate must be detail-oriented, collegial and a dedicated team player, with the ability to work under pressure, and preferably possess a retail leasing background.   Day-to-day tasks include the creation and distribution of leasing deal packages, preparation of documents for execution, preparation and review of estoppel certificates and other retail lease related documents. Knowledge of retail leasing transactions is highly preferred for this individual but not required. The Administrative Assistant, Retail Leasing will support the management of a large portfolio of retail leases, including regular scanning and filing of completed lease documents, preparation of reports, and general office obligations. This individual will have constant interdepartmental collaboration with the Market Planning, Construction, Store Design, Lease Administration, Leasing, Lease Accounting, Cost Recovery and Operations departments. 

Responsibilities

·  Provide department-wide support to Real Estate Managers and Attorneys.
·  Coordinate and facilitate collection of required documentation between the Real Estate Legal Team, Design and Construction, and Leasing Representative teams.
·  Prepare lease packages for assignment to Real Estate Managers and Attorneys.
·  Prepare estoppel certificates and SNDA’s for review by Real Estate Managers and Attorneys.
·  Prepare various lease related memos for distribution to the Construction, Leasing and Lease Administration groups.
·  Handle special projects, both independently and collaboratively, as assigned related to real estate transactions and dispute resolution.
·  Prepare and mail tenant executed legal documents and correspondence to landlords.
·  Track receipt/return of tenant executed documents.
·  Scan/upload fully executed legal documents, memos, and various correspondence into matter management systems.
·  Update weekly reports as needed and assigned.
Qualifications

·  College diploma preferred.
·  3-5 years of administrative experience.
·  Prior experience in a small law firm or real estate company preferred.
·  PC Skills-with a focus on Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Lucernex.
·  Strong organization, and time management skills.
·  Ability to effectively multi-task and meet deadlines.

Benefits

The hourly salary range is $25.00 - $30.00. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below:
