Overview

This hybrid position will be located at our WSS office. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

 

The eCommerce Merchandiser leads the full digital product lifecycle and drives continuous optimization of the online shopping experience. This role requires a strategic, data driven thinker who partners cross functionally to enhance product visibility, improve conversion, and support scalable growth. You will play a key role in delivering site enhancements, managing digital content and SEO, and ensuring high-quality, accurate product presentation across all platforms.

Responsibilities

Site & Product Merchandising

·  Develop and execute site merchandising strategies across the full product lifecycle—from go‑live through retirement.
·  Own the merchandising calendar and schedule content updates to support marketing and promotional initiatives.
·  Manage product categorization, navigation, copy, and imagery to ensure flawless product setup and content accuracy.
·  Conduct daily QA checks to validate product data, pricing, and promotional content; troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies.
·  Oversee end‑to‑end promotions, including shop setup, code management, and promotional assortments.
·  Track assortment changes and ensure readiness for seasonal and weekly updates.

Performance Reporting & Analytics

·  Monitor category, brand, and style‑level performance to identify trends and growth opportunities.
·  Develop KPIs and provide data-driven insights to guide assortment, pricing, and merchandising decisions.
·  Deliver daily/weekly reporting, including sales performance, sell‑through, top sellers, and YoY/WoW metrics.

Site Experience & Optimization

·  Identify and implement opportunities to enhance site search, product filtering, sorting logic, recommendations, and taxonomy.
·  Support SEO strategies to drive organic visibility and partner with cross-functional teams to execute improvements.
·  Flag site issues proactively and assist in scoping and documenting fixes with technical partners.

Initiative & Project Management

·  Stay current on ecommerce merchandising best practices, emerging tools, and industry trends.
·  Prioritize and execute projects that enhance site performance and accelerate sales growth.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

·  Partner closely with digital, merchandising, and marketing teams to launch new products, campaigns, and site enhancements across Shopify and app environments.
·  Work with Digital Marketing to improve pre‑purchase and post‑purchase customer journeys.
·  Provide operational and administrative support to the Ecommerce team as needed.
Qualifications

·   2–5 years of hands-on experience in ecommerce merchandising, site management, or digital operations.

·   Strong understanding of digital infrastructure, content management, tracking, and performance analytics.

·   Proven analytical skills with the ability to derive insights and drive decisions through data.

·   Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.

·   Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and lead projects from concept to execution.

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $65,000 – $75,000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
