Overview

The Security Coordinator will support the organization through execution of security policies and operational activities in order to safeguard the Company assets.The Security Coordinator works closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

·  Assist in the development,implementation and maintenance of security policies and procedures to safeguard personnel, merchandise and property.
·  Conduct regular security inspections to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards.
·  Manage quality & performance of guarding services in countries.
·  Evaluate and oversee security guard effectiveness and performance through analysis of crime statistics and incident reviews.
·  Analyze annual/monthly and weekly data gained from our systems to create insights on security measurements in our locations.
·  Support incident response efforts by documenting incidents and assisting with investigations.
·  Monitor security trends and emerging threats, providing proactive recommendations to mitigate risks.
·  Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures
·  Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and implement security training and awareness programs
·  Work with business stakeholders and assist in negotiations of contractual arrangements with third parties to ensure that value for money and excellent service levels are maintained
·  Function as emergency coordinator :
·  Assist in developing emergency response – and business continuity initiatives
·  Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and external security providers
Qualifications

·  HBO level (Associate’s or bachelor degree) in Criminal Justice, Security Management or equivalent experience,
·  2+ years of experience in a security role (preferred in Retail)
·  Store operational experience would be a plus
·  Technical system knowledge on intruder alarm systems (ATS), CCTV (Panasonic, Axis) and security platforms (Genetec)
·  Strong administrative, analytical and communication skills,
·  Strong IT skills, (Network technology, MS Office),
·  Knowledge of relevant laws, regulation, and best practices in physical and technical security
·  Fluent in verbal and written communication in English, additional languages are a plus,
·  Pro- Active, well organized and independent worker.
