Overview
Foot Locker is seeking an energetic and passionate Associate PR Manager to support the planning and execution of public relations strategies across the EMEA region. Reporting to the Manager Passion Points and PR, you will help amplify Foot Locker’s brand positioning, drive earned media visibility, and nurture meaningful relationships with local PR agencies, media, influencers, and key partners. You will play a key role in connecting our brand to youth culture through storytelling that aligns with sneakers, sports, music, fashion, and community impact.
Responsibilities
· Support the development and execution of PR strategies and campaigns aligned with business goals, seasonal initiatives, and cultural moments.
· Manage day-to-day media relations efforts: coordination of agencies in drafting of press releases and product stories, and building a creative PR strategy around key commercial moments of the brand across the EMEA region.
· Collaborate with local market teams to adapt PR plans, ensuring consistency with global and regional messaging. Skills in managing PR across diverse cultural contexts, considering global audiences and local nuances.
· Coordinate product seeding with media and influencers, and brand storytelling activities.
· Work cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Social Media, Influencer Marketing, and GEO Marketing to ensure integrated communications.
· Support the PR aspects of experiential activations, store openings, and events – from guest lists to media coverage.
· Monitor media coverage, track KPIs, and provide regular reporting and insights.
· Help identify and manage external PR agencies and vendors in local markets when needed.
· Stay up-to-date with cultural trends and competitor activity to inform and inspire impactful PR approaches.
Qualifications
· 3-4 years of experience in PR, communications, or brand marketing – ideally within fashion, lifestyle, sport, or youth culture sectors.
· Solid understanding of the EMEA media landscape and digital-first PR strategies.
· Strong writing and storytelling skills in English
· Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with multicultural teams.
· A self-starter with high attention to detail, creativity, and a collaborative and proactive mindset.
· Passion for sneaker culture, music, fashion, or urban lifestyle is highly desirable.
· Experience in managing agencies, media monitoring tools, and PR reporting.
