We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Associate Mobile Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of our mobile applications.

 

Job Summary:

The Associate Mobile Engineer will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of our mobile applications. This role involves working closely with senior engineers to deliver high-quality, user-friendly mobile solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mobile development, a keen interest in learning new technologies, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

 

Responsibilities

Mobile Application Development:

·  Assist in the design and development of mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms.
·  Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
·  Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to maintain code quality.

Collaboration and Support:

·  Work closely with senior engineers, designers, and product managers to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
·  Provide technical support to other team members and help troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Continuous Improvement:

·  Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends, technologies, and best practices.
·  Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of mobile development processes.
·  Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to reduce manual intervention and increase reliability.

Testing and Debugging:

·  Conduct unit testing and debugging of mobile applications to ensure quality and performance.
·  Participate in the identification and resolution of bugs and performance issues.
·  Document test cases, debugging procedures, and technical specifications.

 

Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
·  Experience in mobile application development.
·  Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android.
·  Familiarity with mobile development tools and frameworks, such as Xcode, Android Studio, or similar.
·  Basic understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices.
·  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $85,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
