Then the role of Logistics assistant team leader can be your next opportunity! As a cooperating foreman, you are the eyes and ears on the floor for the team leader and supervisor. Foot Locker has its European Service Center (ESC) in Heijen from where, among other things, all stores in EMEA are supplied and the e-com orders and returns of our customers are processed.

Responsibilities

As a logistics assistant team leader, you have a monitoring function within a defined work area on the work performed by the equipment operators and temporary workers. All work within the company must be carried out in accordance with work procedures (SOP) and within set work/production standards. In practice, you work as a cooperating foreman with the team, and you ensure that goods (boxes and pallets) are correctly stored as stock and are delivered on time and available for processing daily orders.
You ensure that you are multi-deployable so that you can assist where necessary. This allows you to identify, solve or transfer daily operational problems/malfunctions to the team leader. And you can manage, motivate, and instruct equipment operators and temporary workers to achieve team goals while maintaining a good atmosphere.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who can sustain themselves in an international logistics organization. This means that you are expected to master the Dutch and English language in word and writing. Being in possession of a certificate and experience in working with dynamic internal means of transport is a pre! It is also important that you have knowledge of automation (scan equipment, warehouse management systems) and that you are motivated to master new processes. In addition, it remains a cooperative function in which you must be physically able to function in a warehouse environment: standing and/or walking during 1 working day, bending over, stretching, kneeling, regularly lifting 15 to 20 kg for a short time and both. to move hands and arms freely.
