French Speaking PR Internship

An exciting opportunity for a French speaker based in Central London, to join a successful and growing business.

Flame PR is a business and technology PR company based in London with huge ambitions and a growing blue chip client base. We have opportunities available for ambitious, hard-working and self-motivated interns who speak French, who will be working across our accounts, and our growing business development department. We offer real training, and a chance to do real work (as opposed to making coffee!)

We mainly hire our staff through the internship programme so this as a real career opportunity rather than just work experience.

You will work across a number of our accounts, mostly within the business and technology sector in France, learning a wide variety of skills, such as:
• You must be enthusiastic about picking up the phone and speaking to journalists, and be prepared to work in a very proactive media outreach environment.
• Be prepared to pitch relentlessly and cold call and build relationships
• Understanding the sales side of the business and the process of attracting and retaining new business to Flame PR’s already expanding client base.
• Writing high quality copy and ghost writing.
• Learning how to manage existing clients, attain and handle new clients.
• Pitching and positioning articles and interviews in tier one media, along with elite business and trade press.

Experience is not necessary, but you must have a passion for business news, technology and financial media, and knowledge of the PR industry.
• You will have excellent writing skills, strong interest in current affairs, energy, enthusiasm and ambition.
• You will have the ability to work across a number of different areas of the business.
• You will learn to write press releases under pressure and representing clients from a variety of sectors.
• Ideally you will have an understanding of the finance and technology sectors and working knowledge of business in general.
• You will be a team player and comfortable with pressure and ambiguity.
