Banana Moon Day Nursery Chisiwick is looking for an enthusiatic, self motviated Deputy Nursery Manager.

There will be plenty of ppportunities to grow and develop your career.

You will be supporting the Nursery Manager in the day to day running of the 69 place children’s day nursery. The nursery will be offering full day care for children aged from 3 months to 5 years of age, between the hours of 7.30am - 6.30pm. Flexibilty and good time management is key to this role.

As Deputy you will be in charge of the nursery in the Nursery Manager’s absence, spend time working hands on with the children as and when required and will also have time within the Nursery Office to ensure the operation of the nursery is to a high standard.

You must:

- hold a relevant childcare qualification (level 3 as minimum, ideally level 4/5 or degree)

- Have proven Managerial level experience in a setting with a 'good' or 'outstanding' Ofsted

- Experience of working with large staff teams

- Be passionate about providing the highest quality of childcare possible

- The ability to work on own initiative

- You will need to have a firm understanding and experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Welfare Requirements and how these are put into practice

- Ability to train staff on The EYFS, policies and legislation and safeguarding

- Ability to manage budgets
