Part Time - Collections Agent

Job description

We are currently looking to recruit a number of Collections Agents. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in joining a reputable, global financial organisation. This area of our business provides a Collections service to credit card providers by managing overdue customer accounts. This is achieved by proactively contacting cardholders via a telephone dialler and requesting immediate payments by debit/credit card. We aim to meet client needs by speaking to the customers in a professional manner while maximising the funds collected.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be educated to GCSE level (including English and Maths)
• Be PC literate
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have good analytical decision making skills
• Have a confident telephone manner
• Be flexible, highly motivated and enthusiastic
• Previous collections/debt recovery experience is highly desirable, but not essential.

The positions will be based in our Basildon office and a variation of morning and evening part time shifts are available. The shifts run between 8am and 12.00 / 5pm-9pm with a day at the weekend (20 hours). Full paid training is provided for a period of four weeks.
