Job Description / Background:

Finatext is a growing Japanese born Fintech company, that focuses on producing quality mobile app solutions, alongside a selection of both educational and service orientated Finance tools.
Reporting to the London CEO, this role will assist in a blockchain development role for Finatext’s first mobile trading application created outside of Japan. This project will be one of significant visibility within the global company and will offer the chosen candidate the opportunity to work on a global project with a multitude of skilled teams and personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Deploying on-chain and off-chain
Backend and frontend dev
Bridging gap between mobile based trading app and blockchain
Smart contracts
ERC20 Token Standard
Security Audit
uPort

Advantage:

Solidity, ConsenSys, ÐApps, Open zeppelin frameworks
Interest for Machine Learning and data analytics
Previous experience working in Fintech or Finance
Previous experience working with millennial orientated products
Speak Japanese (nice to have)

Desired profile

Qualifications / Experience:

Good working knowledge of ledgers, consensus methods, blockchains, and cryptocurrencies
Past experience developing Blockchain Products and Proofs-of-Concepts
Full stack/polyglot development expertise
Experience in building and delivering REST API
Experience designing, developing, and delivering complex Blockchain technology applications
Testing and deploying a Blockchain solution through all phases of a development life cycle
Experience working with cryptographic programming and protocols
Understanding of the cryptographic principles underpinning of Ethereum and Bitcoin technologies
Great attention to detail who always aim for breakthrough innovation
Start up experience is desirable
