Marketing Assistant, 12 months Interim, Malton, North Yorkshire.

A fantastic 12 month interim opportunity has arisen at a leading Food Manufacturing Company based in Malton, North Yorkshire, working as a key member of the commercial support team. As the Marketing Executive you will be responsible for supporting the whole range of their fantastic ready meal product range.

Responsibilities Include:

• Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;
• Analysing and investigating price, demand and monitoring competitor activity
• Evaluating marketing campaigns;
• Devising and presenting ideas and strategies
• Assisting in promotional activities
• Compiling and distributing financial and statistical information
• Writing reports
• Organising events and product exhibitions
• Managing campaigns on social media
• Administrative support to the commercial team including tasks such as maintaining and updating customer data bases
• Working in liaison with the Senior commercial manager to deliver added value support to the commercial team

The Ideal Candidate:

• Degree or equivalent background in either Marketing or Business related subjects, with a great understanding of analytics.
• Previous marketing experience would be a plus and a strong passion for food.
• There will be limited travel required to visit customer and competitor shops.
• You'll need to be comfortable with communication as you'll be working across teams and functions including external marketing services, design and research agencies
