Textile Fibre artist assistant

Job description

I am a represented fibre artist based in east London. I am looking for a studio assistant to come and help for creating fibre arts for my upcoming exhibitions for June and July.

I would like a passionate textiles student or someone who loves working with thread to join me. Daily tasks will include hand weaving, winding yarns, organising materials and helping on building a base of textile sculptures. You will be working closely with an artist to learn how to build your career in art industry whilst pushing forward your hand-skills in textile.

Applicants will be asked for an interview and start as soon as possible if the interview is successful.
Travel expenses and lunch are paid up.

Desired profile

experienced on hand weaving or textile design.
someone who loves working with threads.
