Junior IT Security Engineer, learn SIEM getin2 Pre- Sales

£40,000 - £55,000 Base Salary + £7,200 Car Allowance + Bens + 10% Bonus + Stock in a World Class Pre-IPO Software Vendor due to launch in 2015

Salary: Above Market Rates + Bonus + Benefits + Car Allowance | Opportunity to move into Pre Sales in 18 months - 3 years. This is also a very broad role in a client facing capacity offering exposure to project management, client management and building highly complex SIEM /Log Management, Forensic (Host and Network) based solutions to a commercial and government customers to meet compliance mandates as well as IT Operational Optimisation and Security.
Location: Maidenhead/Reading

Require: UK Nationality (Due to nature of clients requiring security clearances), Windows Server 200x, MS SQL Server 200X, SQL Scripting, ReGex (Regular Expressions), Network/IT Security experience installing devices such as Firewalls, UTMs, ideally SQL related Security Software
Advantageous Experience: Unix/Linux, SIEM and business domain experience such as PCI DSS, GPG 13, ISO27001, Protective Monitoring etc
Beneficial Qualifications include: MCSE, CISSP, MCITP, CISA

After enjoying intensive Boot-camp product training and accreditation either in UK or US, you will join a niche team based in the UK Berkshire) comprised of Sales Engineers, Support and Professional Services Solutions Consultants. Your job title will be as Solution Consultant with responsibility for building and deploying SIEM solutions to external customers which can be considered a highly challenging client focused technical role requiring ingenuity and creativity.

Other parts of the role will include Pre-Sales exposure and very small amounts of 3rd/4th line support to new go live customers. You will be carefully developed by a close team building expertise with SIEM to the point where you have gained an understanding of their the broad solution capability you will be given more exposure to Pre-Sales briefs and RPI's RFP's. You will also be given opportunities to evangelize the solution capabilities in public forums to client and partner audiences which demonstrate the client's next generation research and solution design to meet the latest Cyber Security threats.

The client is privately owned and enjoying continual global success. The EMEA team in particular have extensive list of Enterprise clients requiring deployment to meet a broad variety of compliance mandates.
