Studio Assistant - Start ASAP - 3 months - S. Manchester

Job description

My client, a creative agency based in South Manchester, are looking for two studio assistants to start ASAP to support the Studio Producer and Operations Directors in coordinating production work and making sure jobs are delivered on time and to budget. You will have excellent exposure to the workings of a successful and international creative agency and through taking ownership of designated projects, gain an understanding of how client services and productions teams work together in the creative process.

Duties:

• General admin support to Studio Producer and Operations Director
• Coordinate designated projects from brief to print, acting as a point of contact between the studio, print management team and external stakeholders
• Manage workflow including inputting briefs, allocating talent, keeping on top of studio schedule, handling quotes.
• Trafficking agency requests through our Sharepoint system and allocation to appropriate teams
• Research and purchase of proposed images on behalf of our clients
• Managing Freelancer bookings and Purchaser Orders
• Answering status queries (via phone or email) and ensuring clients receive level of service expected

This role would suit someone from an agency background with 1-3 years’ experience, someone who has previously been responsible for some aspect of admin/project/traffic management. However, my client is also willing to hear from recent graduates who have a creative edge and strong work ethic. There is an excellent company structure so appropriate on-the-job training and support will be provided. The most important thing is the attitude- it's essential that you have an unrivalled upbeat and positive attitude that shines through - no matter how busy or frustrating your day has been! It is likely that this could result in a permanent opportunity as the company are continuously expanding and winning new business.

Ideally, they will have some knowledge of the digital and offline processes, project life cycles and production methodologies on both online and offline campaigns - although this is not essential.
