Our Automotive Seating Activity is looking for a VA-VE and Serial Life Engineer VIE (M/F) for its plant in Sao Joao da Madeira (Portugal).
Poste et missions:
This VIE mission will start as soon as possible for 12 months.
The main missions of the role are to:
? Follow the ECR (Engineering Changes Request):
1) Centralize client requests (ECR).
2) Obtain costing, validate the amounts (ECO), and verify the Feasability Analises
Product/Process.
3) Transmit to the commercial and argue impacts.
4) Recover commercial negotiation and ensure the update of prices (sharing of margins).
5) Make weekly meetings with the plants to Follow the ECR’s (share place).
? Supervise and support the VA-VE (Process/ Product) in Trim System Plants.
? Participate in the VA-VE Workshops, and support the Plants to Build a Portfolio in order to achieve the finance target (VAVE).
Ensure the handover of the Programs to Serial Life.
Profil:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
? Masters degree in engineering with a specialisation in international purchasing
? Results oriented with strong written and oral communications skills
? Ability to work in a matrixed organisation
? International mind set, overseas experience a plus
? Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
